Runcorn, UK. 15th. October 2017: Protesters against tolls on the new Runcorn-Widnes Bridge, The Mersey Gateway, gathered at Runcorn Town Hall before marching to continue their protest on a footbridge near the Runcorn exit of the crossing. Local anti-toll protesters call it the Dick Turpin Bridge as they refer to the tolls as 'Highway Robbery' and fear they will have a detrimental effect on the towns of Widnes and Runcorn .
