Several companies from the Idaho Army National Guard ventured out on to Orchard Combat Training Center during the spring and summer of 2021. B Company’s goals were simple and basic - build on vehicle and crew proficiency. Several key personnel were serving on the COVID 19 state-wide task force creating gaps among the tank crews of B Company. New crews were developed with soldiers serving in roles above their current ranks and positions. “ It was great to see soldiers step up into new positions, eager to learn and preform above expectations,“ said B Company Commander, Cpt. Jeff Dahl. B Company qualified 100% of their crews and were the first tank unit to successfully navigate and complete the new OCTC DAGIR Range.
