Moel Arthur Iron Age Hill Fort. Looking north west over ramparts to Penycloddiau Hill Fort on summit of next hill. Roughly circular, the fort covers about 2 ha/5 acres on a conical hill commanding Bwlch y Rhyfeinig to the south. The defenses are mainly natural scarps except for two strong ditches and banks on the gentler northern slopes. Most of the interior is heather and bilberry moorland. Offa’s Dyke Path runs just east of Moel Arthur fort continuing north westards through the centre of Pencloddiau fort.
