It is a native of the southern part of this State, of erect, rapid growth, with immense fan- shaped leaves of a light green color, having numerous long, hair-like filaments at- tached. (See cut on back of Cover.) Dracaena Stricta {Anstralis)—A palm-like tree, with long, flag-like leaves; invaluable in landscape gardening. " Fosterii—A handsome variety, of slower growth than the former ; leaves of a light- er green and more pendulous habit. Agave Americana Variegata—The well-known Century Plant; leaves finely striped. Yucca Aloefolia Rubra—A very striking looking plant, with brownish, stiff leaves. " Aloefolia Variegata—Leaves variegated green and white; the white sometimes tinged with pink.
