BUSAN, Republic of Korea (October 16, 2018) Mineman 3rd Class Charles Mayfield, from Greenville, South Carolina, briefs Republic of Korea navy sailors on mine sweeping equipment aboard the Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship USS Chief (MCM 14) during a tour of the ship. Chief, part of Mine Countermeasure Squadron 7, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response platform for contingency operations.
