PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 31, 2017) – Lt. Cmdr. Kenneth Shaw, of Navy Medicine Operational Training Center (NMOTC) orders snacks at the Naval Air Station movie theater while attending a screening of “Hidden Figures” as part of NMOTC’s diversity event to celebrate Women’s History Month. NMOTC ‘s diversity team screened the Oscar-nominated film which tells the true story of a team of African American women mathematicians who played a vital role in NASA during the early years of the space program.
