Step Clog dancers at the Clogfest festival exclusively for step-clogging. Dancers from all over England gathered in Skipton, North Yorkshire, on the 10th anniversary Clog-fest. Clogfest is the annual National Gathering for the Step Clog dancing community with Dancers performing at Skipton Castle, the Town Hall, Victoria Square and the canal basin.
Step dance is a generic term for dance styles in which footwork is considered to be the most important part of the dance and limb movements and styling are either restricted or considered irrelevant. Step dancing includes clog dancing in which the steps are performed by performers wearing clogs.
