Each 40 by 60 foot section ofthe roof has a skylight 14 by 20 feet. In the rear of bayNo. I are blacksmith and carpenter shops for making lightrepairs; also a crane for handling the grips when they areto be taken out or put into the cars. The stack shown in the floor plan and in the photographof the roof is that of the old barn, and is not now used forany purpose. As it was not injured in the fire it has beenallowed to stand. No steam plant is now required as thereare no elevators as in the old two-story barn, and the buildingwith the exception of the offices, where stoves are used, isnot heated. The cars are heated by their stoves, in whichfire is kept up all night in cold weather, thus insuring com-fortably heated cars even on
