The districtthrough which the road runs is a highly cultivated farmingcountry with no intermediate towns of importance with theexception of one named Wolcott, in honor of some of thegentlemen associated with the road, at which place are lo-cated the power station, car houses, shops, offices, etc., ofthe line. The road has been in operation but a short time;its construction was commenced in April, 1899, and regu-lar service was started in January of this year.
