Rows Of buildings of a uniform design on either side of the viaduct conceal the actual construction. Close by is the Church of St. Andrew, Holborn; near, also, is the Church of St. Sepulchre, only partially destroyed in the great Fire, wl:ere a bell IS tolled when there is an execution in Newgate. "
