Paisley pattern shawl


This traditional Paisley shawl was produced in the town of Paisley in Renfrewshire, Scotland, which the pattern takes its name. From about 1800 to 1850 the weavers of the town of Paisley in Renfrewshire, Scotland became the foremost producers of Paisley Pattern shawls.
