The Air Force Band of the West plays the national Anthem during the 502nd Air Base Wing and Joint Base San Antonio change of command ceremony of Brig. Gen. Heather Pringle to Brig. Gen. Laura L. Lenderman at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston’s MacArthur Parade Field June 6, 2018. The change of command ceremony represents the formal passing of responsibility, authority and accountability of command from one officer to another. Pringle served as commander since August 2016.
