The G Plan Brandon range bedroom dressing tab. This range of modern domestic furniture was launched in 1953 and on sale into the late 1960s. The firm of E Gomme designed the range to capture the early 1950s mid-century look and it was the first of their famous G Plan designs, manufactured in High Wycombe. Made of real wood and properly jointed, and featuring the iconic EG gold makers mark inside the drawer. It was finished in light oak and in the contemporary style of the time. What made the range popular was that all the pieces could be purchased singly, so you could add more.

Being well made it wasn't cheap but it has come back into fashion in recent years because of these looks and because they are so much better than any flat pack Ikea equivalent.
