Glazed terracotta statuette of Pataikos (Ptah-Pateco) from Pompeii dated from the 1st century AD on display in the National Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli) in Naples, Campania, Italy. The dwarf god of Egyptian origin was the main god of the city of Memphis and was considered to be the protector of craftsmen. This glazed terracotta statuette was found on the bank next to the Porta Ercolano in Pompeii on 6 October 1770.
