England – A photograph of the Dan Air Bristol Type 170 Freighter , registration G-AINL parked within a maintenance hangar. This aircraft, serial number, 012827, was manufactured by The Bristol Aeroplane Company Ltd in 1947. It was obtained by Dan Air in July 1957 from Aviation Traders Ltd, having previously served with the Royal Air Force and Aer Lingus. It was the first of three of its type to go into service with Dan Air. A Bedford O Type flatbed truck is parked under the wing and the airport’s fire service tender is in the foreground.
