Assay of the virus recombining measles-HIV by the count of the plaque assays formed on the cells in culture. Therefore, a suspension of the virus is added to cells in culture ; during the incubation, each viral particle lyses the cell that it has infected. After the coloration of cells with crystal violet, the count of the plaque assays that have formed enable to determine the concentration of the suspension in virus.
