Groenerei, or Green Canal, Bruges, Belgium. Pretty canalside terrace and house with bricked up windows.

Windows in some houses were bricked up to avoid a "window tax" during the French occupation. It is said that the expression "daylight robbery" is attributable to this tax. The small white building was built as a tea house.
