Thornton-le-Dale is one of the most picturesque villages on the edge of the North York Moors National Park with a wide variety of attractions and stunning landscapes. its a highly picturesque, centred on a tiny triangular green with market cross and stocks. The old thatched cottage by the side of the babbling beck that passed through the village is a favourite with visitors.
