David H. Morton, Jr., Inc., is the name under which a new wholesale flower store, opened at 100 West Twenty- eighth street, is being conducted. J. H. P. The members of the Wholesale Cut Flower Protective Association held their fifteenth annual banquet at Cava- nagh's, on Twenty-third street, Decem- ber 2, at 7 p. m. An enjoyable dinner was followed by entertainment and talks that lasted until midnight. Frank II. Traendly otficiated as toastmaster in his customary jovial fashion. To his call responded Senator-elect Wallace R. Pierson, of Cromwell, Conn.; Edward Reid, of Philadelphia, and Charles H. Totty and William H. Duckham, of Madison, N. J. The decorations were by Peter Gerlaird, and the dinner com- mittee, which was given much praise, was composed of A. H. Langjahr, chair- man; W. G. Badgley and Philip Kessler. NEW YORK CLUB ELECTS. Preparations for Spring Show. The New York Florists' Club met at the Hotel Pennsylvania, Monday even- ing, December 11, with an attendance of more than 150. President Roman J. Irwin presided. After the reading of the minutes of the last meeting, C. H. Totty. for the flower show committee, reported that the committee had been in session that afternoon, and arrangements for the flower show next March were found to be in excellent shape. Space amounting to about $14,000 had already been sold, so that
