Vallgorguina is a pre-coastal municipality in the Vallès Oriental, which borders the Maresme, northeast of Barcelona. It extends through the depression of the Catalan Coast on the west side of Montnegre and on the east of the Sierra de les Mules. El Corredor (638 meters) is the highest point and includes the valley of the Vallgorguina stream, with streams such as the Collsacreu or the Font del Sija, tributaries of the Tordera river. Part of the municipal area is included in the Montnegre-Corredor Natural Park.
