Edinburgh, Scotland. Sat 10 July 2021. The first visitors return to the Fruitmarket Gallery which has been closed for two years during a £ redesign, expansion and refurbishment. The opening exhibition is “Sculptures (2001–2021): Details for a Retrospective” by acclaimed Scottish artist Karla Black who was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2011 and also represented Scotland at the Venice Biennale.
