He attended the public schoolsand was engaged several years in freighting produce toSalt Lake City and mining camps. Was engaged aslocal agent for the Consolidated Implement Company forthree years, afterwards opening a general store. He hasa nice place of business and a good trade. Carries about$4000 stock of dry goods, groceries, boots and shoes andclothing. Also owns a good farm of sixty acres. Hasbeen deputy City Treasurer for the past four years. Wasmarried in Salt Lake City October 10, 1879, to Maria S.,daughter of Bishop L. S. and Sophia Anderson, born inEphraim December 11, I860.
