Airmen assigned to the 435th Contingency Response Group, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, supporting Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), stage at Beira Airport, Mozambique, April 2, 2019, during the Department of Defense’s (DoD) relief effort in the Republic of Mozambique and surrounding areas following Cyclone Idai. Teams from CJTF-HOA, which is leading DoD support to relief efforts in Mozambique, began immediate preparation to respond following a call for assistance from the Agency for International Development’s Disaster Assistance Response Team.
