Albaola Itsas Kultur Faktoria Maritime Basque in Pasajes San Pedro, Guipúzcoa is a living museum-shipyard whose objective is to revitalize the Basque maritime heritage, recover the maritime technology of the construction of vessels of heritage or historical interest and whose most popular project is the construction of a replica of the San Juan ship, a 16th century Basque whaler that sank off the coast of Canada, sponsored by UNESCO.
