Fisherman holds Humboldt Squid (Dosidicus gigas). Artisanal fishing off the lengthy, rich Chilean coast. Gill netting, hand lining, crabs, mussels and all that concerns the “fishing way of life”. This fishery has come under intense targeting and has only recently become well-managed in co-operatives that stretch the 6,000 kilometer coastline of Chile.
