Record Tower, Dublin Castle, in the 17th Century

Illustration by Walter Osborne (1859-1903) from a special edition history of England published in 1903. Misidentified in its caption in the book as the Birmingham (sic) tower (Bermingham) it is in fact the Record tower (Also Known as the Wardrobe Tower, Gunner’s Tower and Medieval tower) as can be seen by its location next to the Chapel Royal.
