There is considerable mining going onaround and near Winnemucca, and quite anumber of mills and furnaces are in opera-tion, all of which are said to be doing the Winnemucca Range, many lodes ofsilver-bearing ore have been located whichpromise a fair return for working. Stages leave here daily for Camp Mc-Dermott, 80 miles, fare $15; Paradise, 40miles, fare $5; Silver Cty, Idaho, 200miles, fare $40; Boise City, 255 miles, fare$40.
