He has a long straight head, light and rather short neck, strong shoulders well-laid back, and is good in the brisket; unusually large arms, with clean light legs, andlong upright pasterns ; his back short, his loins arched; is well ribbed, as a sailorwould say, fore and aft; has long quarters, full muscular gaskins and thighs, small hocks,and rather curby in their appearance; tail well set on.
