Cape mountain zebra stallions (Equus zebra zebra) sparring. The males of this species live in bachelor groups, from which individuals will attempt to challenge the dominant stallion in a breeding herd. It is endemic to South Africa and classed as an endangered species. Photographed in the De Hoop Nature Reserve, South Africa.
