A large number of these dissections weremade by Sir A. Cooper, to illustrate his Lectures, when Professor ofComparative Anatomy to the Royal College of Surgeons. The Catalogueof the nucleus of this collection was drawn up by Mr. John F. South. The Cabinets of Anatomy, which are under thecharge of the Demonstrator of Practical Physiology, are available for use byStudents who wish to examine them, subject to such regulations as may beieemed >5 The Materia Medica Museum contains in cases a complete collectionof all the chemicals and organic substances included in the BritishPharmacopoeia ; all these are named and numbered. A second collectionof all the chief medicinal substances is placed in drawers and is freelyaccessible to students. A large and very fine collection of dried medicinalplants, named according to the latest nomenclature, is displayed on thewalls of the Museum. The Museum is under the conjoint superintendence of the Lecturer onPharmacy and Pharmacology and Mr. Shattock. The Collection of Chemistry and Mineralogy is under thesuperintendence of Mr. Dunstan. The majority of the specimens werepresented by the late Dr. Bernays. The Museums are open to Students daily from 9 till 5 , andevery encouragement is given to Students to make use of the well-arrangededucational series for the purposes of their studies. THE LIBRARY.
