Staithes, UK. 10th September, 2016. After dark, light artist Mick Stephenson and his team of volunteers planted 12,000 coloured glow-sticks on Staithes beach for his Mighty Glow-Stick installation. The Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage features a selling exhibition of artwork over the weekend in temporary galleries in cottages, houses and public spaces throughout the village.
