A Marine replaces a battery in the DJI Phantom 3 drone during a training exercise geared towards the development and strengthening of small unit-decision making at Camp Lejeune, , Nov. 16, 2016. The Phantom 3 drone includes flight-planning and photogrammetry software which makes terrain models of an area for the battalion’s future training or field operations. The Marines that tested the new equipment are with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division.
