Sukabumi, February 6, 2019: Pretty scenery of Ciletuh valley, the hearth of Ciletuh - Palabuhanratu Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark in West Java. It contains oldest rock formation in Java, dated 145 - 66 million years old. It is tectonically active zone: the subduction zone between the Eurasian plate and the Indo-Australian plate. The tectonic process resulting in gravitational collapse, forming the biggest horse shoe-shaped natural amphitheater morphology in Indonesia and a series of waterfalls.
