It comes into bearing quickly, and continues through- out the season. HAMMOND'S IMPROVED WHITE SPINE. This, my best variety, is a great improve- ment over all other strains of White Spine. The cucumbers are almost cyl- indrical in shape, slightly pointed at . the ends, and handsome in appearance, being perfectly smooth and not ridged, as in other strains. The vines a re of vigorous growth and enormously productive; the fruits retain their dark green color longer than any other variety. Unequaled alike for market and com- mercial pickles, and decidedly the best variety in the world for slicing. Pkt. 5 cts., oz. 10 cts., H lb. 15cts., lb. 50 cts., post-paid; not prepaid, lb. 40 cts. LIVINGSTON'S EMERALD. Dark green, makes excellent pickles; good shipper. Large and long, a new variety. Price same as Ham- mond's White Spine. BURPEE'S WHITE WONDER. Fine in quality: brittle; color ivory white. EVERGREEN. An evergreen, and also an ever- bearing sort. GIANT PERA. Remarkable for its great size often attaining a length of ten to eighteen inches] HAMMOND'S EARLIEST CUCUMBER, or KLONDIKE. The earliest cucumber in the world, and one of the largest extra early sorts. By far the best variety for slicing or pickling. Seeds not large and coarse, but perfect as a table sort, and cut when young makes an ideal size for pickling. I call it earliest because it produces fine cu- cumbers for slicing in 30 days from planting. Also call it Klondike because a ^, T X ^ I, friend of mine that took Hammond s Earliest, or Klondike, Cucumber. jj,y seeds with him to Klon- dike, including some seed of Hammond's Ea
