S Wilhelmsruh, S-bahn railway station serves S1 & S26 lines,Reinickendorf,Berlin. Architect Ernst Schwartz. The railway station also served two abandoned branches of the Prussian Northern Railway and the Heidekraut Railway. As the station was situated outside the former Berlin Wall (in Reinickendorf), the S-Bahn station could on be used from West Berlin between 1961 and 1989 by accessing the southern entrance. The Heidekraut rail terminal was instead moved to Rosenthal station, now abandoned. There are plans to reconnect the Heidekraut rail to Wilhelmsruh station
