Hisdeath occurred in January, 1901, and his remainswere taken back to his old home and laid besidethose of his wife, who had died in 188^. In 1852 Elisha W. Tucker was married to SarahA. Lombard, a daughter of Lucius Lombard, bornin Chautauqua County, New York. Lucius Lombardwas also a native of New York State, who wentinto Chautauqua County while it was still unset-tled and still mainly a wilderness.
