The old town ofNevers became for a time an artistic centre of someimportance. In the handsome renaissance palace built inpart by this said Louis (his arms are to be seen carvedin bold relief on the walls), there is now gathered to-gether an important collection of the enamelled fayencefor which the town is famous, and also a few examplesof the local glass, but none of this last is, I think, of so232 g^-^.\ »^: -<#^.
