Romney Weir hydroelectric power scheme, on the River Thames at Windsor, Berkshire, UK. This project consists of two 4-metre-diameter Archimedes screws which generate electricity for use in local houses as well as Windsor Castle. It was installed in 2011, and began operating in 2013. The project has a maximum output of 300 kilowatts (kW). Photographed in June 2018.
