A huge steam locomotive travels on the A449 between Kidderminster and Worcester, having earlier left Kidderminster railway station after a successful Spring Gala weekend at the Severn Valley Railway. The 7714 pannier locomotive is travelling to West Somerset Railway for a short visit. Following a successful Spring Steam Gala at the Severn Valley Railway, one of their home-fleet engines, namely a pannier steam locomotive , is pictured here on the A449 between Kidderminster and Worcester off on its journey down to the West Somerset Railway. The 7714 will be going on a 'working holiday', but will return home to the SVR after its short 'on loan' period supporting a fellow heritage railway.
