A pair of percussion pistols,G. F. Störmer in Herzberg,dated 1860. Damascus barrels with rifled bores in mm calibre,signed on top,patent breechblocks with silver band inlays,tangs engraved and numbered. Back-action percussion locks with fine tendril decoration,nipple protectors and set triggers. The lockplates are also signed. Beautifully grained half stocks with iron furniture engraved en suite,the pommel plates each inscribed with "1860 224". One stock with a tiny tension crack near the tang.
