The back entrance of the Chor Minor complex of buildings with two functions, ritual and shelter, built 1806-1807, Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The name means ‘Four Minarets’ in Tajik language, although they look more like decorative towers. Each of its four minarets is said to represent a different culture of the ancient world. It is a historic gatehouse to a no longer existing madrasa in the historic city of Bukhara in Uzbekistan.
