SAN DIEGO (Dec. 13, 2018) Stuart Hadley, president of the Pearl Harbor Survivor Association, says goodbye to Chief Quartermaster Raymond Chavez, the oldest survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack, after the memorial service at Miramar National Cemetery. Chavez was stationed aboard minesweeper USS Condor (AMC 14) during the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor. He passed away peacefully in his sleep Nov. 21 at age 106.
