Honor Guard members from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, present the colors during the “Celebration of Life” service for Retired Brig. Gen. Chuck Yeager at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center in Charleston, West Virginia, Jan. 15, 2021. Yeager was an Air Force flying ace and test pilot who in 1947 became the first in history confirmed to have exceeded the speed of sound in level flight.
