In March, 1869. he 390 LATTER-DAT SAINT changed his place of residence to Brig-ham City, Box Elder county, where hebecame an important factor in the Unit-ed Order. He collected all the shoe-makers of Brigham City together andstarted a United Order boot and shoedepartment, having previously assistedin gathering pine bark to start a co-op, tannery.
