A cased pair of percussion pistols, Delebourse, Paris circa 1850. Octagonal barrels with patent breechblocks, microgroove rifling in 11 mm calibre and (except from very tiny spots) a perfectly preserved original bluing. Each pistol on top of the barrel engraved with signature "DELEBOURSE PARIS". Florally engraved snails with gold-filled "1" and "2", respectively. Colour case-hardened, finely engraved percussion locks with floral carvings on the ebony stocks (one butt with a tiny shrinkage crack). Iron furniture engraved en suite and colour case-hardened.
