ATSF flight simulation. Computer simulation of the Future Supersonic Transport Aircraft (ATSF), Concorde's proposed successor, in flight. Lines around the ATSF show the air flow over its surface (including turbulence over the wing), whilst their colour shows the air speed from red (fastest) to blue (slowest). The ATSF's fuselage colour shows its temperature, from blue (coolest) to red (hottest). The ATSF's exterior can be heated to 100 degrees Celsius by friction with the air as it travels at 2300 kilometres per hour.
