Rocket seedlings
The photograph shows young rocket seedlings in a bed of compost. The seedlings are a week old and need thinning to encourage development. This spicy salad leaf is very prolific and should be cut regularly to encourage fresh growth. The plants need to be kept moist to prevent them running top seed.
