The inner strands of Stiirtz, running npwardaand backwards towards the tracheo-bronchial glands, may bsproduced gradually by a centripetal dissemination from thepleuritic infection intervening uetween the gi&nds and thestriae. We consider that the subpleural foci of Gohn may arisethrough the medium of the tuberculous pleurisy, which hasspread over the visceral pleura from affected tracheo-bronchial. 5ia. 4.—Eadioaram 3, Joseph aged 12 years. and bifurcation glands. Such a pleurisy may be ultra-clinical,but none the less effectual as a means for the dissemination oftubercle from paratracheal glands to the substance of the lung. Case boy, aged 12 years.
