City of London skyline viewed from Bermondsey showing, from left to right: the 'Walkie-talkie' (20 Fenchurch Street), the Cheese-grater (122 Leadenhall Street), the 'Gherkin' (30 St Mary Axe) and Heron Tower. The Walkie-Talkie, designed by Rafael Vinoly became famous for focusing the suns rays and melting parts of a car in the summer of 2013. The 'Cheese-grater' is the latest London building by architect Richard Rogers. The River Thames and the riverside warehouses of Wappingf are in the foreground.
