Cambodia: Vorn Vet (1934–1978), Deputy Prime Minister for the Economy of Democratic Kampuchea. Executed at Tuol Sleng in 1978. Khmer Rouge Leadership: Vorn Vet (1934–1978), born Pen Thuok, was Deputy Prime Minister for the Economy of Democratic Kampuchea (and effectively Brother No 4 or 5) until his arrest in November 1978 on suspicion of treason. He was interrogated and tortured at Tuol Sleng (S-21) before being murdered there, probably in December 1978.
